A legacy transformed into action.
The story, people and principles behind the Dr Tunde Aladesanmi Foundation for Road Safety.
21 February 1962 – 24 April 2016
Remembering a surgeon, teacher, mentor and humanitarian.
Dr Tunde Aladesanmi was a distinguished surgeon and medical teacher whose life was cut short in a road crash on 24 April 2016. His death, alongside other doctors and thousands of road users lost to preventable crashes, strengthened the resolve to turn remembrance into practical road-safety action.
Mission
Promote road safety education, awareness campaigns and community engagement to reduce preventable crashes, injuries and deaths in Nigeria.
Vision
Develop sustained programmes using education, media, workshops, school programmes, community partnerships and advocacy to build a safer road culture for everyone.
